Welcome to Glynwood!
I would like to welcome you to our website on behalf of the governing body, staff and children of Glynwood Community Primary School. As Headteacher, I am very proud of our school and it’s many achievements. Our most recent Ofsted inspection report highlighted our many achievements and described the school as ‘a good school with outstanding features where there is a high morale and an excellent team spirit’.
I hope you find our website interesting and informative!

Year 4 Mission: Rainforest
On Tuesday 29th November, Jamie from Zoolab visited Year 4 to talk about his many visits to the rainforests of South America. The children had to decide what clothing and equipment would be needed to survive there.
He brought some rainforest animals with him, which the children could handle - giant millipede, giant snails, a snake, a flying cockroach, a tarantula and a tree frog.

Year 1 and 2 enjoy ice skating
Year 1 and 2 had a great time at the Centre for Life, trying out ice skating.
They were brilliant with only a few little falls!! Afterwards they enjoyed hot chocolate and cookies and then had a chance to explore some of the activities within the Centre too.
