Year 5 and 6 had the opportunity to learn about some of the key skills of a successful business when they had workshops this week. Year 5 learned about marketing and advertising and created their own "Mad hatter" product. Year 6 had a theme of "What's my line?" based upon learning about the different carreer choices they could make.
Year 5 children were split into groups and had to think of a logo for their company. They also had to buy the materials, keep account of finances and create posters of their product. After advertising their posters to the rest of the class the winning team that worked most successfully together was revealed as "The Lucky Sport Hat". The team memebers included Lauren henry, Daniel Hills, Keiron Foster, Callum Air and Jasmine Webber. Well Done Team!
Year six faced a panel of people from the world of business and had to identify their roles from a series of clues. The pupils were allowed to ask a series of probing questions to try and guess their job title. Year six were a credit to the school behaving very well and doing a great job of guessing the different job roles.
