Miss Water`s class walked to the Pet Shop at Felling in the Autumn Term.
We chose our hamster because of her lovely coloured fur. It`s a good job we got the bus back up the hill because she nearly chewed the box open with her sharp teeth!
She is such a good-natured hamster. We hold her every day after assembly, stroke her and talk to her. She loves her new, green exercise ball, which she goes in every day. We have two monitors each week. Their job is to change her water daily, check she has enough food and on a Friday they clean out her cage. We have learn`t alot about caring for animals. Shirley the cleaner chats to Chloe every night after school. Chloe Star makes us all very happy!
