Felt making for year 3/4

This week all classes in years three and four are visiting Shipley Art Gallery to work alongside an artist to produce samples of felt.

Children will experience how felt is made; they will discover how wool from a sheep is transformed into felt using varying processes. Each child will produce a sample of felt which will be brought back to school and used as part of an art display.
