On Tuesday 29th September, the Year 3/4 classes visited Raby Castle in County Durham. We learnt all about how the castle was defended from attackers hundreds of years ago, as well as looking at some of the rooms in the castle. We were amazed at the Octagon Drawing Room which had silk on the walls and real gold on the ceiling! We learnt a lot about castle life and a few of the adults said they would like to live there!
