Sports update

This term has been a bit quieter than normal, partly due to the fact that the leisure centre has been closed and as a result several tournaments and festivals have been put on hold til later this year. We have had basketball and football tournaments this term in which the year 5 and 6 pupils have performed really well and look forward to the forthcoming hockey, netball and multiskills events in the next half term.

3 teams visted Cardinal Hume school for a hockey tournament and did extremely well with virtually no practices due to the inclement weather at school. One of the teams qualified for the Gateshead finals at Whickham comp, where they eventually finished a very creditable 4th.
