Curriculum Intent – Science

At Glynwood Primary School our aim is to provide children with a broad and balanced curriculum, providing activities and experiences which promote scientific enquiry, curiosity and understanding, whilst developing key skills.  Lessons will be planned to have high expectations which will promote natural curiosity of the world around them.  We ensure that Working Scientifically skills are built on and developed throughout their school career so that they can use equipment, conduct experiments, explain concepts and continue to ask questions and be curious about their surroundings.  We aim to promote Science Capital so that every child has the skills and knowledge to equip them for Secondary school and beyond.
